There is a threaded section on the back of the thermometer 1/2 inch long that takes a 5/16 inch wing nut (included), The sensing part of the thermometer extends 1 inch past the threaded section.
The gauge markings for the thermometer start at 150 degrees F and go up to 600 degrees F and also has marks for degrees C.
Bezel Specifications:
The Bezel is required for the thermometer to correctly fit on specific grill models
The thermometer feeds through the bezel and the wing nut is used to tighten the two pieces together to have a secure fitting to the grill.
